Announcement

The Dilkon Health Center is now in construction. All funding necessary to complete the project has been received. In addition, the Pueblo Pintado Health Center is now fully funded for planning and construction. The Bodaway Gap Health Center project also received design funds. Finally, land studies for the Gallup Indian Medical Center is getting underway to set aside land for construction

Purpose

The Office of Planning and Health Care Facility Development (OPHCFD) plans for the construction of health care facilities in coordination with the Navajo Area Indian Health Service; provides technical support to the Navajo Nation Human Research Review Board and several community-based steering committees that advocate for new clinics and hospitals. 

OPHCFD also provides technical support to the NDOH Executive Office by preparing a variety of reports and by handling assigned internal projects.
