Radiation Exposure & Compensation Act (RECA)

The Radiation Exposure Compensation Act ("RECA") Extension of 202 is set to expire on June 10, 2024, unless the U.S. Congress approves a reauthorization or another extension, and President Biden signs and legislation.

The Navajo Uranium Worker's Program ("NUWP") provides direct services to Navajo claimants, or where appropriate, their surviving beneficiaries, seeking compensation under any of the claimant categories of RECA: uranium workers....
