Safe and reliable access to healthcare across the Navajo Nation.

The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Program supports access to healthcare by helping individuals reach important medical appointments when transportation is a barrier. Across the Navajo Nation, distance can delay care, treatment, and follow-up services. This program helps patients, elders, and families connect with healthcare safely, consistently, and on time.

  • • Current Liability Insurance and vehicle registration for all NEMT vehicles
  • • Driver licenses, driving records, and criminal background checks
  • • Drug test records, First Aid, and CPR certification for all drivers
